Program Overview:

You are invited to attend a half-day program on Thursday, October 16th. It is an educational event focused on explaining transportation market dynamics and presenting insight and strategies for procuring carriers and favorable rates an environment of increasingly tight capacity.

This program will feature executives from several major asset-based carriers representing multiple modes, including truckload, LTL and intermodal, including Schneider National, Averitt Express and Hub Group. 

Our experts will provide data on both the demand and supply sides of the current transportation market.  The pendulum is shifting in favor of the carriers.  Therefore, it is important to understand the bidding process, such as how to prepare a bid packet for carriers and the means to present a favorable program for attract carriers and secure available capacity.  Each carrier will talk about the required data elements for a bid packet, the carrier’s selection process, and factors involved in determining pricing and terms of agreement.

Presentations will lead into a moderated panel discussion, taking questions from the audience.
