The Logistics Council (TLC) of Milwaukee invites you to attend an afternoon program on Thursday, October 15th, for what will be an exciting educational event focused on a holistic view of the freight claims process. We will have presenters from the freight company perspective, legal perspective, and a 3PL perspective.
Freight claims are a necessary evil of shipping goods all around the world. However, the in’s and out’s of the freight claim process are not always understood. How are things handled from the company that is carrying the goods that may have been damaged? How does the shipper recoup losses? Do they usually use a third-party to manage their freight claims? What are some of the legal questions brought up from this process?
This presentation will paint a clearer picture for the motives and challenges of each side of the freight claim process. We hope this gained perspective will be able to help answer some of the confusing questions that are associated with this process.
