The Logistics Council (TLC) of Milwaukee invites you to attend a tour of the Bentley World-Packaging facility in Milwaukee on Tuesday, October 25th, for what will be an exciting educational event focused on exploring packaging options for companies of all sizes.

Program Overview:

Bentley World Packaging has been in operation since 1942. Bentley is globally focused, and regionally positioned, offering custom packaging solutions with 8 locations and 1 million square feet of facility space with in Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and in the Port city of Baltimore, Maryland. Speaker Bio:

Thomas Bentley III: Thomas H. Bentley III is the Owner and Chairman of the Board of Bentley World-Packaging (BWP), providing leadership, expertise and over 40 years of experience to the export packaging industry. Tom has managed the organization through mergers and acquisitions, growing the company to service over 400 manufacturers exporting products to over 100 countries. Under Tom’s leadership, BWP has become one of the largest export and specialty packaging firms in the eastern region of the United States.

Tom Bentley is a graduate of the University School of Milwaukee (USM) and Bucknell University in Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration (1969). Tom has participated in numerous continuing business education groups to network and enhance his current business and management skills. Tom gives presentations on the lessons learned as an entrepreneur growing companies. He has presented on the do’s and don’ts of exporting to growing companies as well as the importance of continuing exporting to major manufacturers. In January of 2015, Tom was featured on the front cover of the Journal Sentinel as a passionate believer of enhancing US exports (a copy of this article is available upon request).

Historically, the Bentley family has been in business for almost 170 years through its construction company and is listed as the 72nd oldest family owned business in the United States according to the Family Business Magazine.

Tom is a past president of the Milwaukee World Trade Association, Milwaukee Rotary Club, and Wisconsin Club. In closing, Tom has traveled to and visited all seven of the worlds’ continents, on a combination of both business and pleasure.
