Canada is the United States largest trading partner due to NAFTA, proximity, and our similar cultures. You are invited to attend this insightful program where will give you a general overview on the opportunities to service trans-border and Canada Domestic from US inventories. We will offer a perspective from two different companies, BCG Logistics Group and FedEx.

BCG Logistics Group was founded in 1997 by Allan Smith, President and CEO. With over 20 years’ experience in the Logistics industry, Allan Smith has been a pioneer in the development of distribution systems and programs for International Corporations throughout his career. With a focus in managing the supply chain in the most efficient manner, Allan’s experience in this rapidly changing fast pace environment gives a unique view of all aspects of warehousing, transportation, systems integration, and high velocity crossdock operations. Allan is very active in Supply Chain Education acting as co-chair of the fund raising committee for Supply Chain Management Research Centre and Degree program at Wilfred Laurier University. Laurier presently has the largest School of Business & Economics In Canada and developing the Premier global SCM degree program in Canada Education system .

FedEx is a global company that offers a full range of services from parcel, to Next Day Air, to International Priority shipments plus many more service offerings and solutions. Carmen McMeen is a Global Account Manager for FedEx Services working in the automotive/heavy equipment sector. She has spent over 20 years working with a diverse customer base, from new starts to multinational organizations, helping clients to expand internationally and improve their global supply chain. She has worked extensively with NAFTA issues and has been a guest speaker at several FedEx and Minnesota Trade Office seminars. Carmen has served on the Minnesota District Export Council and has been an active participant with the Midwest Global Trade Association.
